Two weeks ago, I was invited by Kulula to test out their new Boeing 737 Aeroplane. For some reason, I thought we'd fly around Joburg and that would be the end of it. I should have known it was going to be a day full of surprises when a limo and two, not one, but two Harley Davidsons were waiting outside my apartment at 06.00 in the morning. Thank goodness nobody saw me, well except Emma of Emma Jane Nation, because she was my partner in crime for that day. We were both literally stunned by the whole bling drive to Lanseria airport, though there were no complaints. On our arrival, we did this interview with Graeme from Expresso and soon we were on a plane, to Cape Town, for lunch!
That was the most dramatic and entertaining flight I've ever been in, with tip top entertainment and food. Of course, they were going all out, you'll see in the video there was even an incredible opera singer. At the end of it all, I thought ok that was nice, but it's not like one can choose to fly in the brand new bird when they book their flights so.....
Needless to say, a week later, I needed to book flights to Cape Town and I usually fly SAA, BA or 1time and for some reason this time, I made my booking with Kulula. Talk about subliminal force. There is no relation between that even and my flight. Hey guys at Kulula, thanks, that was really fun!
