Introducing Laura Mvula

Oh my goodnessss! I very recently discovered this wonderful wonderful person on the internet.  Please listen to this song and watch this beautiful video and do as all South Africans love to do and claim that she is ours. Her name is Laura Mvula (there's where the claim comes from) and this video was clearly shot in the Western Cape of South Africa.  But after trying to find out more about her, I see that she's got a full on British accent and studied music at the Birmingham Conservatoir in the UK.  Other articles on line say that she is from the Carribean but there's definitely some Nguni up in there, I'm sure she's is at least a South African that grew up in the UK. Anyway, that's besides the point, she has a brilliant singing voice and musically, she just made me sit up.  Enjoy

She has a very special voice indeed!! just read the UKZambian, it claims that she is a Zambian who grew up in the UK. I could believe it because I've heard that there is a Nguni tribe that lives up North of Zambia.
