And Clive showed it first! though the Dutch duo's is flawless. I like the cleanliness of this collection - the dresses look like perfectly cut paper pasted onto little dolls.

I couldn't help but think of Clive Rundle's A/W 2011 Collection when I saw some of Viktor and Rolf's S/S 2011 Collection from Paris Fashion Week. The white blinders (beads from clive and something that looks like fencing defensive gear from Viktor and Rolf) bring a vulnerability to the heavy proportion of both looks. There's also a total Sangoma reference here, something superhuman.

i'm starting to think that fashion, like everything else, is becoming a copy and paste job. just attach that lovely word "reference" and ja... bob's your uncle.
I don't think fashion has ever hidden that fact. Like everything else in life - we are all connected!
