Viktor and Rolf

90s Model Kristen McMenamy was the main face for this collection that saw her wearing the entire collection, three times her body weight, at the beginning of the show before Viktor and Rolfe took each garment off one by one to give to the younger models who walked the rest of the show! Their shows are not just shows, they are always a performance. Were they saying you've got to bare yourself before you dress yourself?

Ann Demeulemeester

This woman's work has always fascinated me. For me, this collection signifies the straight woman that most men are afraid to date. She's gorgeous but doesn't get hit on often because people are terrified of the response. She's the Super Woman of the 21st Century who is also sadly single, lonely and human. Is she straight? I don't know. Although it's not easy to compartmentalise people by their appearance, we all have a sartorial identity that is directly linked to our gender, sexual and cultural identity.

Alber Elbaz for Lanvin

I wouldn't want to bump into this season's Lanvin woman in a dark alley at night! She looks like she could either seduce me to my knees or whip me because I called her "sweetie"! Vanessa Friedman says she "Stalks the streets".

Stella McCartney

At the beginning of the show, a fake audio re-enactment of the call Tiger Woods made to his mistress, telling her to remove her name from the voicemail because his wife had found out, played at the beginning of this show. Look at the statement the clothes are making about McCartney's 21st Century woman. Sexy, Powerful, Chic, Sharp she's clothed in masculinity. She's a woman, clothed with a man's abilities, suited to her but also wants to be pretty, yes for herself, but also for her man. She's a Rachel Uchitel and an Ellen Nordigen who are both powerful in their own way, but they love the man. That's my interpretation. Apparently at the end of all her shows, she plays a Beatles track. This time, she appropriately played "Mother Nature's Son". Because all men are!
