I heart Woolies!

Dreams do come true folks. I am living proof! When I was still living in CT in 2006, I used to take the train and everyday, would walk up Strand Street and pass a huge Woolies billboard that would always have those celebrities on the Woolies campaign.  It always left me with warm feeling in my heart and I ALWAYS wanted to be one of the people one day. This is not an announcement that I will be on those posters, I still wish. But I believe I am a step closer because I'm working with Woolworths for the next year on this and that and guest blogging for them a few times a month.  Who knew? So this is the first guest blog I did for them about SHOES! I love it and judging by the number of responses on their Facebook Page, Woolies fans also loved loved loved! In my next blog, I'm going to have the the difficult task (poor me, I have such a hard life) of going to find the perfect pair of FLARE Jeans from Woolies. Haha! I can't wait! I'm going on Friday and will let you know when it's up! For now, here's the first one.

I'm in Love!

I've got SUCH stars in my eyes.  I'm not a children person but last night I adopted two babies - one for my left and one for my right foot :-) Yesterday at the Vivienne Westwood Anglomania for Melissa Shoes launch at the Two shop, I fell in love with these shoes, which were on the feet on a woman called Caren who works for Melissa Shoes.  I had a fit right there and after many a oooh and aaah for these Melissa brown suede wedges, I asked how much? And does she have more? Let's just say I didn't give birth to them, but now they call me MAMA!!!! AAHHHH I cannot cope. I'm wearing them this very moment and am singing.  BOOOYA! They are not at the Two shop yet, but just you wait. Just you wait!

Elle Female Factor

This morning, I was at the beautiful Peech Hotel for an interview with Elle Magazine's Janine Jellars.  I'm one of a few women that they have spoken to regarding their fabulous online survey aimed at getting to know their readers, but also gather a group of opinions from women that they will present to the government later this year.  It took 45 minutes, which is a lot of time for one survey but it made me stop and think about a few things about myself and being a woman and I highly recommend you do the same here - in the spirit of sisterhood! The interviews will be aired on the Elle Blog (Not sure when) and during next Friday's lunch, which I'm very much looking forward to.  I know it's cheap of me to post my invite up here but, it's my blog and I'll post whatever I want :-)  I'm also wearing a badge that says: There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women - MKA! So be heard, woman!
